Sustainable Development Committee

To achieve the Company’s sustainability goals and strengthen sustainable governance, a Sustainability Committee has been established in accordance with the law. The Committee is composed of at least three directors nominated by the Board of Directors, with a majority of independent directors serving.
The General Manager serves as the Chairperson of the Sustainability Committee, and the Chief Corporate Governance Officer serves as the Executive Director.
The Sustainability Committee reports on ESG implementation results to the Board of Directors at least twice annually.
The Committee includes the “Corporate Governance Working Group”, the “Environmental Sustainability Working Group”, and the “Employee and Social Impact Working Group”.

Annual Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Water Consumption, and Total Waste

The company conducts an annual internal inventory of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, with carbon management and emissions data reported quarterly to the Board of Directors for oversight and control.

Greenhouse Gas Inventory Report

This report presents a comprehensive inventory and analysis of China Glaze Co., Ltd.’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the year 2023. The purpose of this inventory is to identify major emission sources, evaluate reduction opportunities, and provide a reliable data foundation for developing future decarbonization strategies.

The inventory was conducted in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14064-1:2018, covering emission sources categorized into Categories 1 through 6. The results provide a complete picture of the company’s GHG emissions and serve as essential input for setting medium- and long-term reduction targets.

China Glaze is a materials chemistry company specializing in ceramic glazes, with service locations across Asia. Recognized as a leading enterprise in the Asian ceramic pigments and glazes sector, China Glaze has long been committed to technological innovation and sustainable development.

In response to the amendments to Taiwan’s Climate Change Response Act (February 2023), and in line with global sustainability trends, the company has undertaken a systematic GHG inventory process. By establishing a transparent emissions database, China Glaze aims to strengthen its internal environmental management, enhance carbon control, and prepare for effective mitigation strategies.
