Zirconium silicate
Zirconium silicate (ZrSiO4) is an inorganic compound composed of zirconium, silicon, and oxygen. It exhibits high hardness, chemical stability, and high-temperature resistance. Zirconium silicate is widely used in the production of architectural ceramics, sanitary ceramics, and household ceramics, serving as a reinforcing agent for ceramics, opalescent glazes, and coatings. Ultrafine zirconium silicate is also an excellent opacifier for use in coatings, cosmetics, and food industries. Zirconium silicate is also a raw material for refractory materials and is widely used in metallurgy, construction, chemical engineering, and other fields.
Lithium Carbonate
Lithium carbonate (Li2CO3) is a white crystalline powder that increases the gloss, fluidity, and mechanical strength of glazes, reduces the occurrence of surface pinholes, and is used as an additive and flux in glassmaking and ceramic production processes to reduce the coefficient of thermal expansion and melting temperature, increase glass transparency, enhance wear resistance, and reduce fuel consumption. It is commonly found in enamel, glass, ceramics, and the electronics and semiconductor industries. Due to the recent development of the battery industry, battery-grade lithium carbonate is primarily used in the preparation of lithium-ion batteries such as lithium cobalt oxide, lithium manganese oxide, ternary materials, and lithium iron phosphate as positive electrode materials. Its price is subject to market fluctuations.
